It’s great. I am working in the premium section of a workers’ compensation company.
What did you do back home?
I was a claims manager for a motor insurance company.
How does your new job compare?
It’s a bit different as I have been in different fields of insurance.
How’s the pay?
I get $23 per hour.
How did you get the job?
Through an agency in Sydney.
Where else, other than Sydney, have you worked?
I’ve been in Australia for nine months or so. I worked with two other insurance companies inBrisbane.
How did the money/experience compare to Sydney?
I actually preferred the work itself in Brisbane, to be honest, but the money is better in Sydney.
Any memorable moments while working in Oz?
I’ve learnt that Aussies really like their beer! I’ve had a few memorable nights in Brisbane withfellow workers!

Dont give up, keep looking as something always turns up.
