Video: 80-year-old grandma left dangling after tandem skydive goes wrong

The elderly lady, whose name is Laverne, can be seen in a video having a seriously uncomfortable experience as she seems reluctant to jump from the plane, clinging to the edges of the door for dear life.

Her tandem co-diver doesn't seem to hear her complaints and so begins the 125mph parachute dive to earth. Any fearful screams of terror have been helpfully overdubbed with a soundtrack from punk band Offspring.

The Californian OAP is then left dangling precariously from the instructor as the harness joining them comes loose. He clings to her tightly and the pair eventually make a safe but scary landing in a field.
