This summer, ProChile is smuggling a little Chilean sunshine into East London, and it’s arriving in a cocktail glass. On Wednesday 16 July, Colour Factory in Hackney Wick becomes the unofficial embassy of Chilean Pisco for one night only. It’s called The Pisco Disco, and yes, it’s exactly as fun as it sounds.

Doors from 6pm. Pisco cocktails poured all evening, a DJ line-up that punches well above its weight, and a full-throttle celebration of Chilean and Latin American culture. The mission behind it all is a simple one: make Pisco the drink of summer 2026. If you’re not familiar with Pisco then you’re not alone. I’d never heard of it until my Chilean mate brought a bottle out after a heavy session down the pub, and I won’t pretend that evening went well. In fact, I didn’t drink another drop for some time afterwards as it brought back bad memories of the stagger home. But I reacquainted myself with it a month or so ago, and I have to say it was far more palatable 2nd time round. If you like the idea of Grappa, Cognac and Tequila mixed together, then this might be the tipple for you! Pisco Disco will be sharing the spirit’s more refined side with a selection of cocktails.

Heading up the decks is DJ Raff, the internationally renowned Chilean producer, joined by AUKA, one of the UK’s most exciting selectors, who weaves bass-heavy sets through her South African, Chilean and Welsh roots. Laputama and Movimientos round out the bill with a line-up spanning the full, glorious range of Latin American sound. It all plays out on Colour Factory’s outdoor terrace, which is to say: warm evening, cold drink, very good music. What more do you want.

The night is presented in partnership with Movimientos, the not-for-profit that’s spent more than 20 years bringing Latin American music and culture to stages across the UK and Europe.
