Primavera Sound Barcelona 2026 runs from 4 to 6 June at the Parc del Fòrum, with the wider festival week stretching from 3 to 7 June. The 24th edition sold out in February — the second consecutive year it has done so — and the lineup explains why. This is one of the strongest bills the festival has assembled in years.
The day splits are confirmed. Thursday 4 June brings Doja Cat, Massive Attack and Barcelona’s own Bad Gyal. Friday 5 June is headlined by The Cure and Skrillex. Saturday 6 June closes with The xx, Gorillaz and My Bloody Valentine. Massive Attack are making their Primavera debut, having cancelled their 2022 slot. The Cure last played the festival in 2012 and hold the record for the longest single performance in Primavera history. My Bloody Valentine and The xx had both been largely inactive since 2018.

Below the headliners, the bill runs deep: Slowdive, Big Thief, Little Simz, Peggy Gou, Carl Cox, Overmono, Mac DeMarco, Father John Misty, Wet Leg, Alex G and well over 150 acts in total across more than 16 stages. The Parc del Fòrum sits on the Mediterranean coast — a concrete and sea-air setting unlike any grass-and-mud British festival — and sets routinely run until 5am.
Alongside the main site, the Primavera a la Ciutat programme brings shows into city venues including Sala Apolo, Razzmatazz and CCCB, with artists such as Mogwai, Yves Tumor and Current 93 performing across the festival week.
Official tickets are gone. Resale is available through StubHub and Viagogo; full festival passes were priced from €350 at face value (roughly £300). Fly into Barcelona El Prat (BCN) — the Parc del Fòrum is easily reached by metro on the L4 line. The festival has no camping, so book accommodation early as the city fills fast during festival week. primaverasound.com
