Sziget Festival returns to Budapest’s Óbuda Island from 11 to 15 August 2026 for its 31st edition, and the lineup for this year’s five-day run is one of the strongest in recent memory. Headliners confirmed so far include Florence + the Machine, Bring Me The Horizon, Lewis Capaldi, Twenty One Pilots, Sombr, and Zara Larsson, with one headliner still to be announced. Further down the bill you’ll find Jorja Smith, Skepta, Wolf Alice, Biffy Clyro, Underworld, Peggy Gou, Tash Sultana, Ashnikko, Soulwax, Sub Focus, Nia Archives, Loyle Carner, Dom Dolla, Lambrini Girls, Sigrid, Natasha Bedingfield, and TOMORA, the collaboration between Chemical Brothers’ Tom Rowlands and Aurora. The lineup spans indie, pop, rock, drum and bass, house, and techno across what organisers describe as refreshed stages and new festival neighbourhoods.
Music is only part of the picture. The festival also runs circus performances, theatre, dance shows, art installations, and a dedicated Hungarian stage featuring domestic acts. Onsite camping is available, and the island’s self-contained setup means you can spend the full five days without leaving the grounds.
Getting there is straightforward. The main entrance is a short walk from Szentlélek tér in Óbuda, roughly 15 minutes by suburban rail from central Budapest. The festival operates a cashless wristband payment system for food and drink on site.
Tickets are priced from €95 to €220 depending on pass type. Full five-day passes and day tickets are available, with VIP options also on sale. Camping costs extra. Book via the official Sziget website at szigetfestival.com.
