Video: Ben Stiller comedy featuring Richard Ayoade The Watch trailer released

Ben Stiller's local do-gooder enjoys helping out his local community, starting a running group, teaching a Spanish group of OAPs how to ask for their oxygen masks, and, of course, initiating the titular neighbourhood watch. Only things don't go to plan. 



Hiis band of local street-walking watchers are a bunch of dubiously moralled individuals: Vince Vaughn’s motor-mouthed scotch fan Evan, Jonah Hill’s police force drop out Franklin and Richard Aoyade’s stunted socially-awkward fantasist Jamarcus. It falls to this motley group, though, to defend the neighbourhood when it comes under attack from other worldy invaders. 





From the pen of Superbad duo Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg, The Watch is due for release on August 29th courtesy of Twentieth Century Fox.
