You don’t silence The Boss and get away with it – as those responsible for pulling the plug on Springsteen’s show at Hyde Park last week have found out when Brucie performed a show in Dublin complete with a comedy generator on stage!
As well as wheeling on the ‘generator’, Springsteen opened the set with Twist and Shout, the song he had performed with Paul McCartney last weekend in London before the duo’s mics were turned off.

He also continued to mock those who had cut him short in London by holding up a sign reading “Only The Boss says when to pull the plug” before telling the packed Dublin crowd that there was no curfew in Ireland.
