Scuzzy electro rockers, with skyscraping pop hooks, Kids On Bridges – the brainchild of Mancunian Christian Bragg – come on like Nine Inch Nails and Depeche Mode gatecrashing the Monsters Of Rock festival intent on not being outdone by anyone.
The buzz so far Taking Nirvana’s Come As You Are bassline as the basis for their latest track, This Rock, a driving, electro-pounding rocker, they’ve already caught the attention in the US and snagged airplay aplenty.
Throwing myriad influences, styles and attitudes together shouldn’t work, but it does; it works very, very well indeed!
