This is a class that really focuses on the wobbly problem areas. Bums, tums and thighs (BTT) is a workout that gets results.
The session combines aerobic routines with free weights and repetitive movements (think squats and lunges).
It’s not for the faint of heart though – you’ll be feeling the burn for at least two or three days afterwards (especially if you’re as unfit as us).
However, there is a range of abilities in the class so you can go to the pace of the fastest or slowest person in the room.
It’s the most fun we’ve ever had in a fitness studio, and the teacher, Nancy, is super-enthusiastic – she often introduces random pole dancing routines into class, each performed to motivating pop tracks.
Towards the end, Nancy will wind things down and focus on the abs.
This comes as light relief in so much as you get to lie down, but then comes the combination of serious crunches, sit ups and leg lifts.
Do them properly every week and you’ll eventually have the sculpted tummy of a Pussycat Doll.
Classes are on Monday nights between 6.30pm-7.30pm.
At £5.50 per class, they’re a bargain as well.
