A Perth dad who became a viral hit after a clip of him chastising a group of girls in an Innaloo Maccas for ‘acting like sluts’ appeared online, has spoken out.

“I am a little bit embarrassed about it, and I feel for the girls girls themselves, because the majority of comments on Facebook were not doing them much good,” the father, who wishes to be known as ‘John’ told Perth radio.

'John' was in a MacDonalds when a group of drunk girls began causing a scene, throwing food and litter across the floor and sitting on the counter exposing themselves to the staff and the other customers.

It was at this point that John intervened and ordered the girls to start behaving themselves.

“Maybe I should not have done that, but I had got to a stage where I had had enough of it,” John said.

“It could have been a little bit threatening, and it is not the sort of thing that should be happening in a family restaurant.

“Should you do this all the time? I am not sure this is thing I would want to do again,” he said of his own actions and involvement in the incident, before adding:

“But don’t go in a public place and spread your rubbish all over the place, they were acting like pigs.”
