The Palace have announced that the Duchess of Cambridge’s condition is improving, after she was taken into hospital for severe pregnancy sickness two days ago.

A short statement from a spokesman said Kate was "continuing to feel better" and was "immensely grateful" for all the messages of support she has received.

Prince William visited the hospital yesterday and spent several hours at his wife’s bedside. He was smiling broadly as he left, reports The Telegraph

The Duchess is being treated for hyperemesis gravidarum, a severe form of morning sickness and is still not expected to leave the hospital for several days.

The Duchess's parents, Carole and Michael Middleton, and her sister Pippa are expected to visit soon.
