Video: Watch American Olympic team attempt cockney accents and rhyming slang

Team USA have put together a little short video to say thank you to London for hosting the games, and to show that they are good guests by learning a little of the local dialect.
The efforts at a little cockney rhyming slang – “if you win a medal you can go chicken oriental my son” – veer from Chinese through to a Welsh-flecked midwestern drawl.
Dick Van Dyk’s Mary Poppins cockney chimney sweeper was a performance of perfection by comparison, but good on the lads and lasses for showing a good sense of humour.
