The singer has confirmed that she’s bagged the lead track for the new 007 film.
Adele’s track, named Skyfall after the movie, will be the lead track in the James Bond film starring Daniel Craig and Judy Dench.
Other artists to have had the honour of recording a 007 track include Duran Duran, Madonna, Tom Jones, Shirley Bassey and Paul McCartney.
The new album from the belting vocalist is thought to have been inspired by her pregnancy, it’s rumoured the album will have a more gentle vibe, compared with her darker previous offerings ‘21’ and ‘19’.
The multi-award-winning singer was seen at the Abbey Road recording studios at the beginning of this month. Though there were already suspicions after she commented on the Jonathan Ross show last year.
"I'm going back in the studio in November, fingers crossed. Well, this is actually a theme that I've got to do. Wow, that's really giving something away," said Adele on the show.
October 26 marks the opening of Skyfall and the 50th anniversary of the Bond series.
