The couple who were lucky enough to find them the recipients of no less than £148million when they scooped the winning ticket to last week’s Euromillions lottery have been revealed.

Record store owner Adrian Bayford and his wife Gillian have been unveiled as the Suffolk couple who had won the second largest lottery jackpot in the UK when they were the solitary winners of last Friday’s astounding jackpot. 



At a media briefing at Down Hall Country House in Hertfordshire, at which Mrs Bayford spoke of her initial shock and how she thought, initially and quite understandably, that her husband was playing a trick on her at first. 



She then added that, now she is a millionaire, she has begun thinking about what she would like to spend her money on, early ideas including a new car and sky diving 



Bayford runs the second hand record shop Suffolk Music Centre, and his wife Gillian works in the children’s ward at Addenbrooke’s hospital. The Music Centre was shut today, though, it has been reported.
