Right on the boardwalk at Pacific Beach in San Diego, this trendy all-white hotel is the perfect spot for some California dreaming.
‘PB’, as it’s known to the locals, is a popular haunt for college students, so by day you can watch the hard-bodies rollerblading on the boardwalk or playing Frisbee on the beach, while by night it’d be rude not to join them at the surrounding seafront bars.
As a result, the clientele here fall into two, complimentary categories: young and beautiful.
Wow factor Location, location, location – wander onto your balcony of a sunny San Diego morning to drink in the clusters of surfers catching early morning waves, palm trees swaying in the breeze, and the dramatic cliffs of La Jolla in the distance.
The holiday vibes couldn’t come any stronger, with the whole scene afforded a celluloid polish under the clear California-blue sky.
Rooms Huge. You could swing several felines around your cream-painted digs, and whirl a few more with gay abandon in the bathroom, which has a large walk-in shower and generously sized tub.
Still, you’re likely to want to spend most of your time people-watching at your table on the sea-facing balcony.
Bill please Rooms from £148pn.
