White Heat was the ultimate in mid-week trashy decadence, its Madame JoJo’s night a testament to everyone’s power to party and disregard for Thursday being the new Friday, Monday the new Sunday, whatever. White Heat was the new party!
But when a Soho reshuffle saw its JoJo’s home close its doors, it seemed the Heat was no more. Not now though, this evening they kick off a new residency at the Lexington in Angel to spin all the best electro, indie, alt-rock, tech and disco party crashing choons as you can imagine. January’s done, the obligatory post-Xmas detox and abstinence can be packed away again for another year – the weekend starts here!
