Dannii Minogue has given birth to a healthy baby boy and has named him Ethan Edward Smith
The 38-year-old X-Factor judge and her partner, Kris Smith, welcomed Ethan into the world born on Monday.
An announcement was released via Twitter by Minougue’s publicist,
“Kris Smith and Dannii Minogue are thrilled to announce the arrival of Ethan Edward Smith on 5th July 2010.
“Mother and baby are doing well and Dad is very proud. They request their privacy at this special time to adjust as new parents”
Earlier this year she told media that she never considered getting pregnant until meeting Smith.
“I just never thought it was something I would do,” the former Home and Away actress said.
“I had never been broody. No clock was ticking. And I would never have wanted to do it unless I was in the right relationship. He felt like the one.”
