Research conducted by Ticketbis.net has unveiled statistics regarding the astonishing distances its users have travelled to and from the UK to attend their chosen event.
The furthest event from the UK for which a buyer bought a ticket is a Lady Gaga concert in Chile – a distance of over 7,250 miles.
Of course, Beliebers and One Direction fans are known for their dedication – and it’s unsurprising that boy band fans are more committed. According to Ticketbis, the greatest distance travelled from the UK to attend a Bieber concert abroad was Dublin, and a UK-based One Direction fan bought a ticket for a concert in Lisbon.
So, next time you’re griping on the Victoria line en route to Brixton, remember it’s just a short train ride – and be grateful you don’t have to take a flight.
