Photo taken from Crestholme (Durban,SA), overlooking Inanda Valley, with Inanda Dam in the foreground. The storm moved from inland towards the coast over a period of abou an hour. This was one of the last big strikes of the evening as the storm moved on, you can see star movement in the left of the picture and the moon highlighting the clouds in the top left. Taken using an EOS 400D with the standard lense, wide open aperture and a bulb exposure of about a minute.
