Former iPhone owner Kate McCaffrey was surprised to see that photos, taken on her stolen smartphone, had popped up on her Facebook feed thanks to Apple’s Photo Stream.
Next to a photo of a man wearing a name tag that read “Nelson”, McCaffrey wrote: “This is Nelson. Nelson stole my iPhone.”
Disney cruise ship employee, Nelson, snapped shots of his friends, his love interest and other happenings on board.
In comments on the album, McCaffrey said her iPhone “was stolen on board the Disney Wonder cruiseline back in April” and that “his photos are just making it to my photostream”.
McCaffrey, who called the album “Stolen iPhone Adventures” is tracking Nelson’s personal exploits through the pictures that he unwittingly uploads.
McCaffrey said: “I have alerted the officials of the Disney Cruiseline and forwarded them the photos. Hopefully I’ll get my phone back and maybe some free passes to Disneyland.”
