Mila Kunis has agreed to a date with a US marine who made a Youtube video asking the actress to join him for the Marine Corps Ball on November 18 in Greenville, North Carolina, US.
It’s unlikely that Sgt. Scott Moore, of the 3rd Battalion 2nd Marines, who is currently based in Musa Qala, Afghanistan, expected Kunis to even see his Youtube video, let alone escort him to the ball.
But his dreams came true when Mila Kunis’s Friends With Benefits co-star Justin Timberlake was shown the video and decided that Kundis should “do it for her country”.
Marine in Afghanistan asks Mila Kunis to the 3/2 Marine Corps Ball
In the Youtube video, a sunglasses-wearing Moore gets straight to the point, saying: “Hi Mila, I just want to take a moment out of my day to invite you to the Marine Corps. Ball with yours truly.
So take a second to think about it and get back to me. All right, bye now.”
Mila hadn't seen clip when she appeared on Fox News promoting her new film.
However, when the presenter brought up the video, that has been viewed more than 700,000 times so far, Timberlake decided to take matters into his own hands.
"Do it for your country," Timberlake said.
He then turned to the camera and, addressing Moore, said: "Man, I'm gonna work on this for you. This needs to go down."
Kunis replied: "When is it? When is the Marine Corps Ball? I'll go. Alright! We're gonna make this happen?
She then turned to Timberlake, saying: “Are you going to come?”
“They don’t want me! They want you,” Timberlake retorted. “You need to do it for your country.”
“I’ll do it,” Kunis replied.
