After a 50-year-old employee at her LA home started choking and coughing up blood after biting his tongue during a seizure, the former That Seventies Show actress rushed to his aid and turned his head so he could not choke.

The 28-year-old also offered to accompany the man to the hospital in the ambulance, but it was not necessary. The man made a full recovery.

Only the truly celebrity-obsessed (and downright crazy) would say their famous fellow humans held superpowers … but is there something in it?

Earlier today, it emerged that film superstar and two-time Academy Award-winner Dustin Hoffman also saved the life of a man who collapsed in front of him.

Hoffman was taking a stroll through Hyde Park, London when he saw 27-year-old jogger Sam Dempster staggering and frothing at the mouth before collapsing.

Hoffman raced to Dempster’s side and called emergency services. When professional help arrived, the 74-year-old actor remained at the scene until paramedics restarted Dempster’s heart.

And actors Patrick Dempsey and Ryan Gosling have also been recently credited with saving lives.

Last month, Gosling saved a London journalist from being hit by a taxi in New York, while Dempsey used a crowbar to help prise a teenage driver from the wreckage of a car accident in Malibu, California.
