Police said that an unknown number of culprits made off with 5 metric tons of Nutella chocolate-hazelnut spread over the weekend.
Their haul, which was nabbed from a parked trailer in the central German town of Bad Hersfeld is worth an estimated £13,500, reports The Huffington Post.
Word is that crepe and banana retailers in the region have stepped up security – just in case.
