Update: Fabrice Muamba tweets pictures of himself sitting up in hospital

Muamba continues to recover from the cardiac arrest he suffered at White Hart Lane on Mar 17.

The photo was posted on his behalf on Muamba’s Twitter account.

He was treated on the field and in the ambulance as medics battled to save his life and he remains in London Chest Hospital.

Doctors revealed he was effectively dead for 78 minutes after his heart stopped beating while 15 defibrillator shocks were required to resuscitate him.
