Kaleidoscope Festival returns to Alexandra Palace Park on Saturday 11 July 2026, bringing together a genre-spanning line-up of music, comedy, culture and family experiences at one of the capital’s most distinctive summer day festivals.
Set across the parkland of the historic “People’s Palace”, the one-day boutique festival unfolds across three glorious stages, hidden corners, a dedicated family fun area, immersive Victorian basements, all framed by sweeping panoramic views across the capital.
From the South Slope‘s natural amphitheatre, with Alexandra Palace itself forming a dramatic backdrop, to roaming performers, circus tents and underground late-night adventures beneath the Palace, Kaleidoscope blends live music stages with London sound-system culture, comedy and creativity into a festival experience unlike anywhere else in the city.
Kaleidoscope‘s playful, anything-goes spirit extends into a dedicated ‘Family Fun’ area, a mini festival within the festival, filled with giant bubbles, circus performances, art, theatre, science experiments and hands-on experiences for curious minds of all ages. Families can drift between the brilliantly eccentric Silly Science Show, Circus Sensible‘s interactive mini–Big Top, spectacular performances from the African Acrobatics Circus and giant bubbles from The World’s Tallest Bubbleologist, alongside Family Disco Yoga, Punch & Judy shows and pop-up performances throughout the park.
Beneath the Palace itself, Kaleidoscope’s atmospheric Victorian Basements once again open to the public for an afternoon of offbeat storytelling, and a special Q&A with rave culture author and ex TNT staff writer Kirk Field, before the cavernous underground spaces transform as night falls. Part labyrinth, part immersive cultural playground, the basements have become one of Kaleidoscope Festival‘s most talked-about experiences, offering a rare chance to explore a hidden side of Alexandra Palace not usually open to the public.
