Starting with a stand-up module at university, the star says he had “nerves so bad it was coming out of both ends!”
Carr was told by a gypsy fortune teller that he’d make his money doing stand-up.
“I went ‘no way love, no way.’ She said, ‘you’ve got a great sense of humour’ and as she went to sit down I pulled the chair away.”
