Not new, in that their debut Post-Nothing was out in 2010, a grubby, garage rock-y assortment of noise.
Since then, this Vancouver-hailing duo, who’ve shunned adding numbers to their ranks, have split up, avoided death (guitarist Bring King suffered a perforated ulcer) and then celebrated shoving two fingers up at the Grim Reaper by reuniting. Their follow-up LP, Celebration Rock is out June 4, and they’re touring in support.
The Critics say “The best band on this planet right now.” Pitchfork.com.
