This Norwegian five-piece (via London) have surely one of this year’s stand-out names, a quirky gigglefest, but the boys have tunes to match.

The buzz so far Mining an indie-pop territory that dials both elements all the way to infection, debut single Sin is a Friendly Fires-esque three-minute burst of choppy, angular indie guitars, harmonious vocals and pounding dance-able beats, with a full-on rock-out outro.

It’s shamelessly mainstream, and all the better for it, shorn of any po-faced indie-isms. Indie-pop that isn’t embarrassed by the latter.

The Critics say
“An upbeat, romping slice of guitar-led cavorting.”

The plug
Debut single Sin is out August 6 through Killing Moon Ltd
