A pair of Geordie beauties performing a cute version of Call Me Maybe has been viewed nearly a million times on YouTube.
The Newcastle duo 'May Arcade', who perform the song in their own local dialect with some quirky rephrasings have proved to be a big hit online.
Sophie and Leanne are a pair of glamorous buskers who can be seen playing covers and original material on the streets of Newcastle.
After hitting half a million views, the girls celebrated with some champers (image via @MayArcade on Twitter)
The duo manage to squeeze the words 'give us a ring will ya pet?' in the place of Carly Rey Jepsen's original lyric 'call me maybe?' giving the pop hit of the summer a Tyneside twist.
