Frozen yoghurt bars, chocolate afternoon tea and monster spaghetti. Here's what's going on in the London food scene this week.

Tea for sweet tooths

Lovers of fine chocolate will drool over William Curley’s Couture Chocolate Afternoon tea, just launched at the Halkin hotel. Curley, the multiple winner of Britain’s Best Chocolatier, has given the Belgravia venue’s classic teatime spread a delectable edge. There are treats such as a chocolate cake centred with mango compote and topped with passionfruit curd, and a black forest dome of dark-and-white chocolate mousse with kirsch-soaked sponge and cherry compote. Yum! The afternoon tea is served between 3pm-6pm daily, for £37.50pp.

Keep cool in the city

Frozen yoghurt bars are the next foodie fad spreading throughout capital. Jumping on the bandwagon is Tutti Frutti, which has more than 40 different flavours, including papaya, pink lemonade, mint, coffee and coconut. The multi-national chain is set to open its UK flagship in Covent Garden in December. It might be winter, but it will never be too cold for these treats.
