Post-punk four piece who combine classy and energetic live shows with a world-weary outlook to produce something that's anthemic and haunting.
The buzz so far: Post-punk shoegazers known for their emphatic live shows, this London foursome’s debut self-titled EP combines the spiked angst of The Cure and New Order’s organic basslines, with a world-weary lyrical outlook fuelled by “a sense of despair at the alienation and devolution of modern life”. As Blur once said, modern life is rubbish. This lot aren’t.
The Critics say: “What’s instantly noticeable and applaudable is how distinctively British the sound of
this act is.” Killing Moon
