Festival watch: The Great Escape 2013 - the UK's answer to SXSW

This week-long fest sees more than 350 up-and-coming bands – and the odd legend – play 30 Brighton bars and clubs in a UK riposte to the US’s South By Southwest.
Aussie acts include Snakadaktal, Deep Sea Arcade, Hungry Kids of Hungary and Jagwar Ma, plus there’ll be Dinosaur Pile-Up, Stevie Neale, Swim Deep, Tom Odell (above) and more, and even folky Billy Bragg.
Brighton, May 16-18.
