Readers of a certain age will remember the glorious plasticine adventures of the The Trap Door, however for one London pub worker, those memories may be slightly tainted after he fell through one this weekend.
The unlucky lad, known only as Eoin, was working behind the bar at a undisclosed pub in the capital this Saturday as a sound tech, when he failed to notice the door to a dumbwaiter, used to send up towels and bar goods from the cellar, was open.
Security camera footage shows Eoin walking across the bar looking at a monitor before disappearing in almost instantaneously through the hole in the ground.
Eoin fell a full 10 feet, landing on the top of the dumbwaiter. Thankfully he only sustained minor injuries in the shape of a sprained ankle and knee.
But even more thankfully, some kind soul put the incident online for us all to enjoy. Happy schadenfreude everyone!
