London 2012: Team GB Olympic GOLD as Nick Skelton wins showjumping

Britain has another Olympic gold medal for Equestrian showjumping after Nick Skelton, who won the top podium spot in another victory for the host country.
A clearly jubilant Skelton, 54, said he was “speechless”, telling the BBC: "I've got a wonderful Horse, wonderful owners, a dream come true. Wonderful for our country, wonderful for our sport."
The British team of Maher, Nick Skelton, Scott Brash and Peter Charles began today’s Olympic final in equal second place alongside Holland, Switzerland and Sweden heading with Saudi Arabia in the lead.
However after three faultless rounds of the showjumping circuit, Team GB claimed another Olympic gold.
Skelton, who was competing in his sixth Olympics, riding the brilliant nine-year-old stallion Big Star, said of his horse before today’s final:
"He felt amazing, he looked amazing, but he is amazing. He hasn't got a negative that horse. He is the most perfect horse - he's a freak. As soon as he goes into the arena he just lights up."
