Fearne Cotton announces first pregnancy with boyfriend Jesse Woods

As is the norm for people in the public eye these days, Cotton announced her news via Twitter.

Musician Jesse Wood is the father and Cotton’s baby will be his third

Thirty-year-old Cotton tweeted: “Jesse and I have some news!!!!!', and then posted a link to her website with a statement which read: 'Jesse and I are very happy to announce we are having a baby.”

“We are over the moon, morning sickness aside (me, not Jess) and looking forward to the little Cotton Woods arrival.'

Wood, the son of Rolling Stones guitarist Ronnie Wood, and Cotton have been an item since July 2011.

Singer Ellie Goulding tweeted: "oh my god!! Congrats Fearne!!!!!!"

Celebrity Juice co-host Keith Lemon also tweeted his congratulations.

“I am so happy for you Fearne. Honestly. Greatest news ever. Can't wait to see your milk trucks. Love Keith x.”

She has been congratulated by Mel C, fellow Radio 1 DJ Greg James and the new Radio 1 breakfast show host Nick Grimshaw.

Earlier this year, guitarist Ronnie said: "Fearne’s a beautiful girl. They’re lovely together. I met her when she came to a Faces gig with Jesse at Cornbury Festival. I very much approve.

"She’s rock ‘n’ roll. I do wonder if she’ll become my daughter-in-law any time soon."
