Comedian and film reviewer Richard Sandling has chopped together scenes of the hit ‘60s-era show to the tune of Rick Astley’s Never Gonna Give You Up.
The short movie, named ‘Rickrolling’ was originally a prank thought up by Sanding, who clearly has a lot of free time on his hands. However, it was worth the effort, the comedian’s YouTube video has become an Internet sensation with nearly 80,000 hits.
The memorable characters of the Mad Men series, Peggy Olson, Don Draper and Joan Harris have been cut in all the right places, so they are collectively singing the ‘80s pop track.
The video was made for Sandling’s new stand up comedy show, named Perfect Movie. The humorous show, based on all things movie, will take place on September 26 in The Leicester Square Theatre, London.
