New footage has been released of The Dark Knight Rises, the much-anticipated third Batman movie from Christopher Nolan.
The two-minute-and-20 seconds long trailer, features more footage of Anne Hathaway as Catwoman and Joseph Gordon-Levitt in his new role as Gotham City policeman John Blake.
There’s also plenty more shots of British actor in his role as Bane, a villain determined to wreak havoc on Christian Bale’s Batman,
Bane speaks far more clearly than in earlier trailers where his muffled voice drew criticism across the internet.
The film’s producers also began another viral campaign to support the film's July 20 release.
The campaign consists of a new online bundle, with various memos, posters, and, an invitation to a scavenger hunt, which includes a string of global locations, including some in the UK, listed at which pictures should be taken and sent to the film's Twitter account.
Nolan recently revealed: "Without getting into specifics, the key thing that makes the third film a great possibility for us is that we want to finish our story.
"And in viewing it as the finishing of a story rather than infinitely blowing up the balloon and expanding the story... unlike the comics, these things don't go on forever in film and viewing it as a story with an end is useful."
Anne Hathaway, Tom Hardy, Gary Oldman, Michael Caine, Liam Neeson and Morgan Freeman are among the supporting cast for the movie
