Rolf Harris, the greatest man that ever lived*, became the first Australian to be awarded the Fellowship of the British Academy of Film and Television Arts last night.
The 82-year-old Perth-born broadcaster and artist was honoured with the lifetime achievement award at BATFAs' glamorous awards ceremony, at London's Southbank Centre.
The star of Animal Hospital, and wobble board aficionado, joins greats such as Stanley Kubrick and Alfred Hitchcock to win the award.
Harris, who spoke to us for our 1500th issue, moved to the UK to study art, before becoming a regular on children's TV and launching a pop career.
In recent years he's presented some of the most approachable and inclusive shows about art ever seen on mainstream British television, painting the Queen in the process.
During an episode of The Antiques Roadshow a painting of Bonnie Tyler by Harris was valued at £50,000.
