Cuba Gooding Jr, best known for his role on the 90s movie Jerry Maguire, has yet to be found by police after they issued a warrant for his arrest early this morning.
The warrant for misdemeanour battery against Gooding Jr was prompted after a complaint at the Old Absinthe House on Bourbon St. in New Orleans.
The 44-year-old allegedly became angry after being recognized by customers, who began taking photos of him, according to the gossip site TMZ. The bartending staff stepped in when he began a stream of obscenities at the offenders.
When the female bartender asked him to leave, Gooding Jr shoved her up against the wall, according to witnesses. He shoved her again when he and his friends decided to leave the premise.
His publicist has released no comment on the incident.
The movie star was in New Orleans to work on filming for his next movie, The Butler, about a White House butler who serves eight presidents. The star-studded film is set to release sometime next year.
Police are still searching for Gooding Jr., who they have not seen since the incident.
