Red Bull racing driver Sebastian Vettel look set to join Ferrari in 2014.
According to Andrew Benson, the BBC's chief F1 writer, sources within Ferrari have said they signed a contract with Vettel which will see the 25-year-old join them, depending on their results.
The move appears to have been given the green light by Ferrari's Fernando Alonso, with Felipe Massa continuing to fill the second seat for Ferrari in the 2013 season.
Alonso had supposedly blocked a move by Ferrari to sign Lewis Hamilton.
Red Bull and Vettel have denied the claims being made by Ferrari, but admit that the German's contract has a performance clause which would allow him to leave if the team's strong position altered.
Vettel currently leads the Championship and could see him scoop his third driver's title in as many seasons.
