A bearded dragon lizard has been filmed playing Ant Crusher on a smartphone in one of the most popular 'animals with technology' videos to hit the internet in weeks.

YouTube user ThatSpecialGuy posted the clip of his pet bearded dragon playing Ant Crusher on his Android phone. The lizard is surprisingly good at the game and appears confused that he isn't catching real ants.

The video has been watched more than 1million time since it was uploaded to Youtube.

Bearded Dragons are native to the arid, rocky, semi-desert regions and forests of Australia. They like climbing and basking in the sunshine on rocks. They eat leaves, vegetables and insects.

The Dragon appears to be the first lizard caught in film playing a digital game. Cats have been swifter to get into the new technology and Youtube is packed with clips of cats playing with iPads.

Here's one to get you started.
