The future is now if this high-tech couple's nuptials are anything to go by - a romantic beach wedding...with jet packs
California couple Grant Engler and Amanda Volf decided to get hitched on Newport Beach - and made a spectacular entrance wearing jet packs.
The groom added a bow tie to his wetsuit outfit and the bride wore a veil and white shorts.
Bride Amanda Volf said “Grant and I are kind of outdoorsy, adventurous-type people...As you can imagine, to do something like this you’d have to be.”
The couple's futuristic Jetlev water-powered contraptions retail at a cool £63,000 each.
And the first dance? Frank Sinatra's 'Come Fly With Me'. Perfect.

And on a similarly futuristic note, check out this Star Wars-style hover skiff bike made by Aerofex Corp - also based in California and capable of floating above ground at speeds of up to 30mph floating up to 15ft off the ground. Wowzers.
