These gorillas at a Canadian zoo really get a kick out of the simple pleasure of watching a caterpillar going about its business.
In the video, which was uploaded by Calgary Zoo, in the state of Alberta, Canada, two Western Lowland gorillas are transfixed by the movements of a hairy invertebrate as it makes its way along the bars of their cage.
A younger gorilla is seen watching the progress of the larvae but is quickly shoved aside by a larger more senior primate who takes a keen interest.
