US President Barack Obama is still proving a hit on the YouTube viral video cicuit, in the latest YouTube video he sings Al Green’s hit sog Let’s Stay Together.
Al Green is a hugely popular gospel/ soul singer and word is Barack Obama is that the US president is a huge fan.
Barack Obama sent the 1400-strong Apollo Theatre, Harlem crowd wild when he broke into the song at a fundraising event in New York.
The 1400-strong audience clapped and cheered when he belted out the line from Al Green's hit.
Al Green was actually present but it wa the president’s voice that brought the house down.
"Those guys did not think I would do it," Barack Obama said, referring to his advisers and campaign team.
“Don’t worry, Rev. I can’t sing like you,” Obama then says to Green. “ I just wanted to show my appreciation.
Just last week, another Obama viral – a mash-up of speeches that made him sing Lady Gag’s Born This Way – also attracted plenty of views as it was shared through social media sites Facebook and Twitter.
The Lady Gaga video was edited to make Obama appear to dance and clap to the beat.
