The 21-year-old beauty wanted to work on both shows, but ITV bosses would not give her permission to work on another channel.
On her Twitter page, Amy wrote: “Thank you for your lovely messages I will miss TOWIE so much, but you will be seeing more of me thanks for your support
“Im sorry I haven’t tweeted you all but I will let you know more when I can it’s very exciting. (sic)”
According to rumours, Amy was think of leaving before she was offered the Big Brother gig as she was annoyed that newcomers like Joey Essex, Chloe Sims and Gemma Collins were given more screen time than her.
She has also spoken of getting her own show.
She said: “There is a lot of talk about me getting my own show. Everyone wants me to. They love me. So I’m sure it could happen.
“We’ve all got to jump off at the right time as it can’t go on forever.”
