Avoriaz is a vast ski area perched 600 meters above Morzine on the cliffs above the valley Ardoisieres.
In the winter time, Avoriaz averages 8 metres of snow each year. On the border between France and Switzerland, you’re able to ski in both countries on the same day.
The Stash
Opened in 2007, the Stash is a snowpark where boarders and skiers can turn tricks.
The slopes wind in and out of the tree forests and are punctuated with hidden wooden obstacles that boarders can hit to create jumps.
There are wooden elements including a wall for vertical sliding, logs and tree trunk obstacles and wooden tables for sliding on.
Summer
In the summer, visitors to Avoriaz can take advantage of the stunning mountain scenery with mountainbiking, hiking, and white water activities.
