Brazil lost World Cup according to newspaper

Brazil have lost the World Cup, according to an advert in a Brazilian newspaper.

Depite Brazil thrashing Chile’s 3-0, Extra newspaper printed the following:

‘The team exited the World Cup, but not our hearts.

‘Thanks Brazil, we’ll see you in 2014.’

Apparently the advert was published by mistake and had been submitted to the paper as a contingency, just in case the team lost to their South American rivals.

We reckon someone had a bad time of it in the office today.
