Hosted by Virgin, the event offers the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to learn from a panel of the brightest business minds in the nation’s capital, including Sir Richard Branson himself.

Sapphira, also under the name Priscilla Silcock, is the founder of Sapphira’s Showgirls, a burlesque academy that empowers women’s self-expression and is expanding her business to Spain, by launching the Ibiza Burlesque Festival. The showgirl with more than sequins tucked into her satin gloves, recently took part in the nation-wide entrepreneur search, Pitch to Rich, in which close to 2,000 businesses took part to win prizes totalling £1 million to take their businesses to the next level.

Sapphira’s Showgirls were hot in the running during the campaign, reaching position 50 in the competitive grow category, but whilst they slipped out of the running in the last hours, they received a personal tweet of encouragement from Sir Richard himself.

‘I’ve worked hard to connect with Sir Richard for four years,’ says Sapphira. ‘I have been reaching out to him to mentor me in my business including my forthcoming album and my campaign has tributed him with three successful World Records plus involved 250 people in six cities.  To finally have the chance to be in the same room and hear his wisdom would be a dream come true. I am reaching out to the wider community of supporters who know how hard I’ve been working to help me raise the £250 for a ticket to the Virgin Disruptors conference.’

Sapphira has had a fascination with the British business magnate since Valentine’s Day 2013 when she launched the My Heart Belongs To Branson YouTube campaign that requested his help with flights for her group to tour from Australia to England. Since that time, Sapphira has created elaborate publicity stunts to show her admiration of the Virgin Founder, including a pilgrimage from Melbourne to Darling Harbour Sydney to declare her love with six showgirls, dedicating her participant certificate for the Guinness World Record in 2014 with Burleskathon to Sir Richard Branson and hosting the World’s Fastest Glove Peel Relay in February this year at the Clapham Grand London in his honour.
