The dwarf row between David Cameron and Commons Speaker John Bercow just won’t go away.
Prime minister Cameron drew criticism from dwarfism charities after likening the 5ft 6in Speaker to one of the Seven Dwarfs.
However yesterday the Speaker’s wife, Sally Bercow, hit back on Twitter, saying: “If Mr B’s a dwarf then I’m Snow White. And Cameron is definitely Dopey.”
The dwarf war kicked off when Cameron said Health Minister Simon Burns had backed his ministerial car into the Speaker’s own official limo.
Cameron told journalists that when Bercow said he was “not happy” about the incident, Burns retorted: “So which one are you?”.
This is turn alludes to an incident in June when Health Minster Burns publicly apologised after calling the Speaker a “stupid, sanctimonious dwarf” in the Commons.
And this lot are running the country?
