Bringing a taste of the life less ordinary to the UK, the Finlandia ‘Midnight Sun Sessions’ will invite guests to enjoy a ‘Fin and Tonic’, a refreshing blend of Finlandia Grapefruit topped with tonic, while kicking back in the sun to a specially created chill out set from some of the UK’s best DJs including Becky Tong (London), Crazy P (Liverpool & Edinburgh) and Nightmares on Wax (Manchester).
While soaking up the summer sun with a refreshing ‘Fin and Tonic’, guests can get into the Scandinavian spirit with a beautiful Finnish flower hair garland or specially designed visors. Traditional delicacies will be on offer throughout the day from the Finnish barbecue to help round off a special evening with friends.
The Finlandia Midnight Sun Sessions will start by saluting the summer soltice in London on Sunday 21 June, taking over West London’s private members club, Broadway House, Fulham, for a session open to everyone, running from 3pm-8pm.
The Finlandia Midnight Sun Sessions have been crafted with utmost care and attention just like the vodka itself. In Finland, it is under 73 days of consecutive days of endless sunlight that the finest six-row barley used in Finlandia vodka ripens for harvest. It then joins pure spring water which has been naturally filtered through a glacial moraine formed more than 10,000 years ago. And after 50 days of perfect distillation, the story ends with an award-winning vodka. And like the endless sun in Finland, the Midnight Sun Sessions will light up evenings across the UK throughout the summer, taking their special events to Manchester, Liverpool and Edinburgh as well.
